EFT Research
Call for Participants: Share Your Expertise in EFT Research
Are you an experienced EFT therapist who has used the Expanded Focusing Task in your practice?
We invite you to participate in a qualitative research study exploring how EFT therapists use this powerful task in therapy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growing body of knowledge around the Expanded Focusing Task, developed by Dr Melissa Harte, and to reflect on your own therapeutic practice.
What’s involved?
• A brief online demographic survey (approx. 10 minutes)
• A confidential interview (60–180 minutes) conducted via Zoom or Teams
• Your insights will help shape future EFT training and practice
Who can participate?
• Registered psychologists or counsellors
• Trained in the Expanded Focusing Task
• Certified EFT therapists or those working toward certification or those experienced in using EFT
Why participate?
• Contribute to the development of EFT theory and practice
• Reflect on your clinical use of the Expanded Focusing Task
• Help document the legacy of Dr Melissa Harte’s work
This study is supported by the Australian Institute of Emotion Focused Therapy (AIEFT) and conducted independently by researchers at Swinburne University of Technology.
