Before You Join or Renew
By joining or renewing your AIEFT membership, you’re confirming that you are a currently registered practitioner or are actively completing studies in psychology, counselling, or related field. We rely on our members to keep their registration and professional details up to date, helping us maintain the integrity and professionalism of our community. Please see our full membership conditions below.

If you’re applying to become a new member, and haven’t already done so, please email your qualification or enrolment documentation, alongside your membership application form to membership@aieft.org.au after completing your membership purchase.

For those renewing, your billing details entered as part of your membership payment below, will be used to update your membership profile. If you’d like to update any other details (such as your preferred email or workplace), please log in here to update your membership profile.

We will contact you in the near future with your membership details. We’re looking forward to a great year of learning and connection with you.

By joining or renewing your AIEFT membership, you’re confirming:

1. I am currently accredited as a mental health professional with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., AHPRA, PACFA, ACA, or equivalent) or a student working towards accreditation.*
2. I agree to be bound by the AIEFT’s Constitution and Conditions of Membership.
3. I understand that the AIEFT is able to revoke my membership at any time.
4. I understand that if I cancel my membership, fees for that year cannot be refunded.
5. I authorise AIEFT to send me email updates on AIEFT related information and events.
6. I acknowledge that: the AIEFT will not release my contact details to any other persons or entities; at all times my personal information is protected by relevant privacy legislation.
7. I agree to notify the AIEFT within two weeks if there are any changes to my practice status, registration status, or any other matter that could be deemed by the Board to influence my membership.
8. I understand that by not renewing my membership, my membership will be ended.
