Emotion Focused Therapy Level 2 – September 2023

Emotion Focused Therapy – Level 2

With a spotlight on empathy, presence, tracking and attunement, Level 2 explores Emotional Change Processes, Emotion Schemes, Case Formulation and Micro Tasks, through short lectures, reflection, and small group work.

Participants will revisit Focusing, Two-Chair Work, Empty-Chair Work and Systematic Evocative Unfolding tasks, examining the steps of the model and stages of the tasks. Special attention will be given to the phases of treatment of depression and anxiety. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in experiential exercises and tasks in small groups supported by experienced EFT facilitators.

Level 2 consolidates learning from Level one and introduces case formulation of more complex emotional processes.
